Kylei's Bench: Burfoot Park, Olympia WA

The trail system leading to the memorial benches takes about 30 minutes each way (intermediate level of difficulty). From the parking area, choose downward sloping paths—they loop and interconnect. Also, there are multiple sets of stairs on the journey and what goes down must come up. After reaching the beach, move along the shoreline toward a rocky outcropping in the distance. At low tide, you can walk around the rocks to the benches. At high tide, you must climb over the rocks! Kylei's bench is the best seat in the house toward the center. The pics below are a guide.
